Nina Conti will be bringing her jaw-dropping and completely hilarious human puppet ventriloquism act to Shanklin Theatre, where she has agreed to appear in a one-off performance in aid of local charity The Wight Brainy Bunch.
Nina has not only won a British Comedy Award, but she has also stormed Live at the Apollo, Russell Howard’s Good News, Sunday Night at the Palladium, and made a BAFTA nominated film – all without even moving her lips!
The ventriloquist will be supported by Canadian-born Sean Collins, who has 25 years’ experience in stand-up comedy. Since residing in the UK, Sean quickly established himself as a strong performer appearing on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC 1.
The Wight Brainy Bunch provide emotional support and financial assistance to Isle of Wight Families affected by brain tumours, by funding a variety of services including travel costs to the Southampton for treatment, purchasing of specialist equipment, short breaks and memory-making experiences for those with a terminal diagnosis. They also help with counselling services, physiotherapy to aid mobility and cognitive rehabilitation therapy.
Tickers are selling fast for the one-night-only performance on Saturday 30th November at 20:00. To book visit https://www.shanklintheatre.com.
