Seb Norsworthy has been presented with the Marine Apprentice of the Year award at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.
This prestigious award recognises outstanding dedication and achievement in the marine industry. The award is sponsored by Cowes Harbour Commission (CHC) in association with the Isle of Wight College.
Seb has demonstrated exceptional determination and commitment in completing his Marine Engineering apprenticeship. He has made history as the first Isle of Wight College apprentice to pass the Marine Engineering standard, marking a significant milestone for both his career and the College’s apprenticeship programme.
The award was presented to Seb by Cowes Harbour Master, Capt. Jon Kidd, who said:
“It is a privilege to present this award to Seb in recognition of his hard work and perseverance. His success highlights the strength of marine training on the Isle of Wight and the bright future ahead for young apprentices in the industry.”
