Police on the Isle of Wight are urging locals to report any sightings or information about a possible ‘large gathering’ of youths taking place on the Island today (Saturday).
PCSO Chris Urry from Shanklin has advised Islanders to report any sightings of such behaviour to Police on 101.
The appeal for information comes following the organisation of a Golden Hill Fort rave reunion, which organisers say Police have prevented from taking place despite its professional organisation and middle-aged target audience. Several hundred people are still expected to be on the Island having arranged travel and accommodation.
Island Echo understands Police are preparing to locate, intercept and shut down any raves that take place.
