Iceland is recalling its own-brand ready-cooked diced chicken breast because some packs may contain uncooked chicken.
The recall was issued earlier today (Thursday) as a precautionary measure with Islanders warned by the Food Standard Agency not to consume the product.
The reason for the recall is that some packs may contain a possible presence of raw, uncooked chicken making them unsafe to eat.
The affected product is; 800g Iceland Ready Cooked Diced Chicken Breast with a best-before date of 17th June 2023.
If you have purchased the above product, DO NOT eat it.
You are able to return the product to any Iceland store – such as Ryde or Newport – where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.
