Emergency services have been called to Green Lane in Shanklin following a collision involving a caravan and a parked car.
Police are on scene on Green Lane, near County Ground, where a collision involving a caravan has occurred.
Island Echo understands that the caravan was being towed along Green Lane towards Shanklin when it struck a parked Ford Fiesta.
Despite the collision, the towing vehicle didn’t stop and left the scene.
The caravan is currently being recovered by Bartletts.
Southern Vectis had previously suggested that the caravan was ‘badly parked’, as a result, Green Lane was blocked to Route 2 buses for a short time.
