3 more inspiring women from the Isle of Wight are set to share their stories at the latest Island Women event, which takes place at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes next month.
The popular series, which has already seen 2 events take place, was created by broadcaster Cheryl Buggy to celebrate women who live and work on the Isle of Wight.
The next evening of live conversations is scheduled for 8th July between 19:00 and 21:00, with guests invited to enjoy inspiring stories and meaningful discussions in a waterfront setting.
Joining Cheryl Buggy for the latest event will be Becky McGregor, Chief Executive of the Mountbatten Group, Martha Henson, Director of the Isle of Wight UNESCO Biosphere Festival, and film producer Laura Julian.
Alongside the live events, Cheryl also hosts a series of free Island Women podcasts, which have attracted thousands of downloads and can be listened to here.
Cheryl Buggy, Creator of Island Women, has said:
“I’m delighted that there have been many thousands of downloads for the podcasts and that the live events so far have been so well attended.
“It’s such a pleasure to be able to share these stories that are, without exception, fascinating and uplifting.”
Tickets are priced at £9.50, with all proceeds from sales being donated to local charities.
The event is open to all and will be held at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes.
