An exciting new (or should we say old?) discovery has been made on an Isle of Wight beach, in the shape of a dinosaur footprint.
The footprint, which was found in the sand by walkers on Yaverland Beach, has been shown off by Dinosaur Isle on their Facebook page.
Dinosaur Isle explained that the footprint shows that approximately 125 million years ago, the prehistoric creature was travelling in a Southwesterly direction.
The news comes as the museum marks its 20 year anniversary this week with a new guidebook to the Isle of Wight’s fossils.
