Another cold night across the Isle of Wight saw the mercury drop to a staggering -7.3c last night (Thursday), according to local weather forecaster IW Met Service.
The ridiculously cold reading was captured over in the West Wight at Newbridge, with thermometers in Calbourne themselves reading a measley -7c.
Elsewhere on the Island, temperatures were slightly warmer in Blackwater (-6.1c), Godshill (-5.1c) and Binfield (-4.1c).
These recorded temperatures are a lot colder than those captured on Wednesday into Thursday when temperatures reached -5.8c at Bembridge Airport.
Although the temperature recorded in Newbridge is very cold, it is still a long way warmer than the record low of -17c that was recorded by IW Met Service in Chillerton back in December 2010.
The cold weather is set to continue over the weekend.
