
TV’s Alan Titchmarsh and author Michael Morpurgo are among the guests added to the Drumming and Strumming for Shanklin Theatre on Thursday 28th April.
Sir Michael Morpurgo, who is known for War Horse and Private Peaceful, joins TV gardener, author and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh and Welsh singer/songwriter Martyn Joseph. Founding member of The Rolling Stones, Dick Taylor, one of The Pretty Things, will also make an appearance.
Chesney Hawkes, The 4 of Us and BBC DJ Mark Radcliffe were confirmed for the event earlier this month.
Meanwhile, a host of Island bands will also be taking part, including The Rare Breeds Medicine Show featuring JC Grimshaw, Greg Barnes, Fallen Riders, Amy Jolliffe and The Solar Escape.
Organisers Tilly Grimshaw and Jake Curran said:
