Some 300 cannabis plants have been discovered at Holliers Hotel in Shanklin after Police carried out a raid in the Old Village this morning (Tuesday).
A convoy of police vehicles snuck up on the premises on Church Road shortly after 08:00, before officers swiftly gained entry to the hotel.
It has been confirmed that approximately 300 cannabis plants – worth an estimated £150,000 – have been located and seized during the warrant execution.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary says that the haul was located after concerns were raised over drug supply in the area.
Police say that a 56-year-old man, a 50-year-old man and a 26-year-old man have all been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a controlled Class B drug.
They remain in custody at this time.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area whilst officers carry out enquiries. If anyone has any concerns they can speak to an officer”.
UPDATE MONDAY – 3 men have been charged in connection with the production of cannabis, Police have confirmed.

The alcohol licence should be revoked immediately.
Drugs are destroying families for so many people. People need to pass on suspicions to the police and the courts need to hand out hefty prison sentences for convicted dealers
No point in fining people who can just make loads more untaxed illegal money.
The country is impacted by illegal drugs on a massive scale, and it is ruining neighbourhoods, The Government need to wake up and get a grip on this.
