Police are tonight (Saturday) looking for a tomato plant thief who has stolen £3 worth of plants in Newport – they were being sold to raise funds for a cancer charity.
The 9 vegetable plants have been stolen from the Nunnery Lane/Watergate Road junction in Newport at some point this evening, prompting Police to ask whoever has taken them to return them.
The plants were being sold to raise money for the Macmillian Cancer Trust.
