The popular bookmaker William Hill are to open a second shop on the Isle of Wight, it has been confirmed to Island Echo.
The nationwide company are set to take over the old Johnson’s dry cleaners in Ryde High Street, which has been empty for some time.
Subject to planning permission being granted by the Isle of Wight Council, it is hoped the shop will open at the start of 2017 with the creation of up to 5 jobs.
It follows on from the opening of William Hill’s first Island shop in Newport earlier this year.
