Cowes Sports Reserves v W&BA goal 3 minutes from the final whistle saw Whitecroft & Barton Sports take top spot in Harwoods Division 1 on goal difference from West Wight on Tuesday evening. In other Harwoods Division 1 games…
Bembridge 1-3 Brading Town Brading Town have avoided relegation to the 2nd Division by overcoming Bembridge at Steyne Park after conceding an early opening goal. Oli Wilson equalised for the Romans to leave the scores level at full time, with Jake Keetch and Aaron Bennett ensuring victory for the away side with goals in the 80th and 85th minutes. Northwood St Johns H-W High Park Northwood St Johns have also avoided relegation after High Park refused to field a side, conceding the 3 points and relegating East Cowes Sports. High Park manager Stuart Woodmore has blamed the Isle of Wight Divisional Football Association for his team’s refusal to play the game as he had not been informed whether High Park Reserves would be playing in the Junior B Cup Final. Playing 4 reserve team players in the game against Northwood would have made them unavailable for the final. Stuart Woodmore said:
“We have to make this decision on what’s best for our football club not anyone else’s. Congratulations to Northwood on surviving and apologies to ECS.”
Indeed. High Park have over 50 players registered. They should be able to put two teams out from that lot. Maybe they just don’t like turning out for this manager any more.

So Brading are safe so according to Home and Away decisions that have happened this season they should give their home game versus W and B tomorrow to them.Shanklin give West Wight the game tonight resulting in no injuries, don’t have to wash the kit, save on petrol and costs to match officials.League season is finished and jobs a good un.Island League is as corrupt as the Premier League.
What a ridiculous comment. No club throws a game in order for the other team to win.
And if you hadn’t noticed, if Brading gave W & B the game, they would have a point deducted and be relegated.
your evidence of corruption is obviously based on your distorted view
High Park would be relegated and as Oakfield resigned from league NO other teams need be relegated .As for your 1st comment look at the number of Home and Away games awarded.See what happens on Thursday evening!!
That’s a poor excuse for not playing the game as I have heard that the Junior B cup is too be scrapped as to many clubs broke the rules.
Always somebody else’s fault.
Woodmore needs to man up and take responsibility occasionally
