The Isle of Wight Volunteer Centre is hosting a volunteer fair at The Riverside Centre in Newport this Saturday (14th January).
The IW Volunteer Centre helps to connect potential volunteers with organisations that are looking for volunteers.
Every year they hold 1 or more Volunteer Fairs, where you can meet in person a whole range of charities, community groups and organisations who have volunteer opportunities locally.
There will be over 50 stalls to visit and It won’t cost anything (unless you want to buy something to eat or drink while you are there) and who knows what new opportunities you will find.
The event will be open from 11:00 – 15:00, everyone is welcome.
I will be there as the chairman of IWUFT (Isle of Wight University for Free Time). What a great opportunity to connect with willing individual to help our community.
