Tapnell Farm Park, which is set to become the Isle of Wight’s latest attraction this Summer, has announced it will officially open it’s gates on Wednesday 29th June.
Packed with fun for all the family, the new Farm Park will be opening all-year round, offering a range of hands-on animal experiences, and indoor and outdoor play.
Visitors will have a wide variety of animals to meet at the Farm Park. These include the mobs of Wallabies and Meerkats rehomed from Seaview Wildlife Encounter, along with a whole host of Tapnell Farm’s own animals. Interactive animal experiences will allow visitors to get ‘hands on’ with many of their new residents. These will include Meerkat Encounters, Wallaby meet and greets, Calf Feeding, Donkey Grooming, and a variety of different animal talks with Tapnell Farm Park’s keepers.
Activities and attractions on-site will include an Indoor Play Barn with 3-storey Soft Play Zone, Straw Bale Adventure Barn, Pedal Go Karts, Outdoor Jumping Pillow, Climbing Wall, Giant Chalkboards and lots more. There will also be a large Farm Park Café, serving a range of freshly prepared hot and cold lunch items and snacks, and a brand new gift shop.
Island residents and regular visitors to Tapnell Farm Park can take advantage of their new Membership scheme. Adults and Children can become Farm Park members for a whole year for just £40 each – the equivalent of around 77p a week. As well as being granted unlimited entry to the Farm Park for 12 months, members will also receive a range of other exclusive benefits and special offers throughout the year.
