Southern Vectis is inviting customers to have their say on the standard of its services across the Isle of Wight.
The award-winning bus operator is keen to understand how it can improve its services still further.
Southern Vectis head of communications, Nikki Honer, has said:
“We’d like as many of our customers as possible to take part in this survey – which we carry out twice a year,” said Southern Vectis head of communications, Nikki Honer.
“Our mission is to make bus travel as attractive as possible, so more people opt sustainable transport. This will go a long way to reducing congestion and improving air quality here. We have been successful in doing this so far – with service improvements, new electric buses and the strong partnership we have with Isle of Wight Council to improve journey times and the quality of bus stops.
“It’s important that we regularly receive feedback on all aspects of our services – those that people love, and the things that people feel we could improve.
“Anyone wishing to take part can do so by visiting our website. This is our customers’ opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of bus services across the island, and we are looking forward to hearing from them.”
The survey is open from now until Friday 3rd April.

My question to Southern Vectis would be,
why do they run so many double decker buses
less than half empty on many routes.
Surely single decker buses would make more sense.
The buses are far to wide for island roads.
So are many vans, trucks, pick ups and SUV’s
Couldn’t see the survey on their home page.
Neither could I.
Lower the fares to £2..i think generally they run good..
The green agenda is to get vehicles off the roads
so free fares would be the answer.
They are starting to charge motorists more for
Electric, Petrol and Diesel to deter motorists from
driving.
The recent activity in the world is rather convenient for
their plans.
Attention to detail would be a good start. I can’t see the survey on the website so why not include a link to it after trumpeting you care what we bus users think
