Police were called to Shanklin earlier today (Wednesday) after a vehicle reportedly mounted the pavement and clipped a pedestrian with its wing mirror.
The incident, which was reported to police at 11:33, occurred at the junction of High Street and Regent Street.
Officers attended the scene where it was discovered that a Citreon C4 had mounted the pavement and clipped a pedestrian with its wing mirror.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed that no injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
It is unclear how the incident occured.
