Denbigh House Dental Practice took away the most awards of the night at the glamorous National ceremony.
A Denbigh House Spokesperson has said:
“This is an outstanding achievement for any practice, but as an NHS practice up against esteemed and renowned private competitors we are especially proud of the accolade. With so many NHS practices not able to continue to make ends meet due to the lack of government support and funding over the years, and dentists choosing private practice due to the continuing cuts to wages from rising fees and stagnant UDA values, we as a team continue to love our community and are doing our best to care for as many people as physically possible.
“Whilst one practice cannot solve a nationwide problem we are working closely with local authorities and the ICB to reform NHS dentistry and we are working as a pilot to find solutions, and hope to lead the way in restoring NHS dentistry and the dental health of the Island and wider. We are currently at capacity and working as hard as possible, but hope that having the support of the necessary authorities will help us to be able to grow and help to further meet the NHS dentistry need on the Island in the near future.”
