A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision between a double-decker bus and a motorcycle on the outskirts of St Helens.
It was shortly after 13:00 that Police and paramedics were called to Eddington Road, at the junction with Attrills Lane, after a KTM motorcycle was involved in a road traffic collision with a Southern Vectis bus.
The crash has left the rider of the 125cc vehicle injured.
He is now being conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment, but is not thought to have sustained significant injuries.
The bus involved, a round-the-Island Island Coaster service, has sustained front nearside damage.
Eddington Road was partially blocked for a time but the incident has now been cleared.
