Police are in attendance at a road traffic incident on the main road to Niton this evening (Sunday).
The incident that occurred at around 16:30 is to believed to be involving 2 vehicles.
It has occurred on the corner of Niton Road near where it meets Newport Road.
The road remains open with it thought to be a relatively minor incident.
The stretch of road on which the crash has occurred was only re-surfaced a matter of weeks ago.
UPDATE @ 18:15 – The incident is now over with road completely open normally once again.
More lunatic idiots will be along soon….the total must be around 14 this week….

I drive this road in the morning’s to work. 90% of driver’s race along the road like idiots, not surprised there’s been an accident. I’ve noticed a lot of younger drivers Speeding towards Newport and wonder what they’re parents would think if they could see them speeding around blind bends.
This was two older couples.

Yes one driving in whitwell driving a black Volvo doing about 45mph then threatening to break my legs because I told it to slow down. The excuse was amazing. “ I live here” so if you ever get caught for speeding just say I live here so it gives you the automatic right to drive like a absolute idiot. If they live there then he would know there is horses around that area and bridle ways and people walking on the roads.
