Police have notified Islanders about a white van that is selling generators on the Isle of Wight.
There have been several reports lately of males selling generators, tools and even ceramic pots and pans out of the back of a white Ford Transit van.
The registration plate of the van has been confirmed and circulated by Hampshire Constabulary as PN65 HVS.
Whilst no official warning has been issued, Islanders should be wary of buying goods from unknown mobile traders.
Anyone who spots suspicious activity should contact Police on 101.
