The band of rain that has swept, and continues to sweep across the Island has lead to the cancellation of tonight’s Wightlink Islander’s pairs meeting at Smallbrook.
The team’s co-manager, Kevin Shepherd said:
“With the amount of rain that has fallen so far and is forecast to fall here before clearing away later, there just wouldn’t be time to get the track in fit condition for racing to go ahead tonight.”
