Isle of Wight residents are being invited to learn more about local health services when the Isle of Wight NHS Trust holds its Health Fair and Annual General Meeting this week.
The event will take place at St Mary’s Hospital in Newport on Wednesday (16th September), with the Health Fair opening its doors at 09:00.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to meet teams from across the Trust and community partners, find out more about local health services and ask questions.
The Trust’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will follow at 10:15 and run until 12:00, looking back at its work and achievements during the past year.
The meeting will include highlights from the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2025/26, as well as an update on the impact of the Generation Research Study and its contribution to research and partnership working.
Representatives from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service will discuss how its sepsis protocol has improved patient care over the past 10 years and outline what comes next.
The expansion of the Community Diagnostic Centre and how this will improve breast care services will also be discussed.
A public question and answer session will give Islanders the opportunity to put questions to the Trust.
Ahead of the AGM, the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has released a short video looking back at its work and the difference its sepsis protocol has made over the past decade.
The Health Fair and AGM will be held in the Conference Room at St Mary’s Hospital, Parkhurst Road, Newport.
