A single vehicle collision in Havenstreet resulted in minor injuries for a single casualty earlier this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police received reports of a collision on Main Road at around 13:45.
Resources from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and a pumping appliance from Ryde fire station also rushed to the scene.
Main Road – between Stroud Wood Road and Firestone Copse Road – was blocked for around 45 minutes whilst the incident was dealt with.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed that one person reported minor injuries.
The road has since reopened.
Turn the wheel, sharp bend.
Such accidents wouldn’t happen if in a 20mph zone.
