how come Newport engine is on scene, where is the Cowes Fire engine?
It can be for several reasons. A Newport unit was already kitted out and on the road at the time of the call and scrambling a Cowes crew would have take more time. Or it could be one Cowes tender was unfit for service needing maintenance and sending a second unit would leave Cowes undermanned for a secondary incident. There is also various types of tender, each has a specific task. They might need a hydraulic Snorkel or a foam tender but the correct unit would have been sent for this particular RTI. The towns might have their own stations but the vehicles can be transferred to any part of the Island at any time.
More and more crashes everyday.
Car’s don’t crash themselves, idiots do…
Idiots who pass judgement on the basis of assumption without knowing the facts shouldn’t be making pathetic comments.
GET A LIFE NO MATES !
Yep, your just one idiot that think car’s drive themselves, WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE THEN? COULD IT BE ONE OF THE CAR’S?…Or one of the drivers? You ignorant fool, by the way, do you drive a van? Because Waxker come to mind?…
NEITHER! A wet sub standard road surface was responsible, Why do you even bother to express your narrow minded opinions that no one is interested in and label all van drivers as waxkers as you put it?.
I was driving the focus that hit the van and he was far from being a waxter about the situation,
His main concern was that we were both ok and walked away without any serious injuries.
I have been driving for 32 years, don’t drink, smoke weed or do any drugs, have no convictions and not old before you play the discrimination card again. This was my first crash ever !, accidents happen when the sub standard roads are wet and your brakes lock YOU ARROGANT KNOW IT ALL PRICK !
I’m guessing any feedback you get is a bonus for your ego
Yes they do. Some years ago Ryde was icy and cars were snow covered. My Dad came out and found the gusting wind had blown his car down the road about 10ft and come to rest on the neighbours car. No damage was caused, but it blows your theory… Heh heh heh! 😉
