The Metropolitan Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing 45-year-old man from Norwood, London who is believed to be on the Isle of Wight.
At 15:00 on Monday 13th June, Robert ‘Robbie’ Gibson, 45, left his home in Gipsy Hill, SE19 to go for a walk. He was last seen later that day in the Co-operative store on Central Hill in Gipsy Hill.
Officers have since been informed that Robert was seen at 18:45 that day catching the Wightlink catamaran from Portsmouth to Ryde. Mr Gibson is thought to have boarded an Island Line train at Ryde Pier Head towards Lake and Shanklin.
