Monday 16th December – Friday 20th December 2024
• Esmee Hicks, 21, of Wilton Road, Shanklin pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). She was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £32 surcharge.
• Joachim Kurek, 46, of Main Road, Rookley pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £251 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £100 surcharge.
• Samuel Begent-Lowe, 30, of St Saviours Road, Totland pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis) and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £32 surcharge.
• Lewis Hunter, 27, of Well Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to stop after a road accident, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was banned from driving for 6 months, made subject to a 12-month community order with 180 hours of unpaid work, and fined £300. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Darren Prouten, 42, care of Probation Service, pleaded guilty to 2x theft from a shop, and fraud by false representation. He ordered to pay £203.15 compensation and £85 costs
• Lennon Lowman, 20, of Staplers Road, Newport pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Matthew Hume, 50, of Gurnard Pines, Cockleton Lane, Cowes pleaded guilty to 2x harassment – breach of a restraining order on conviction. He was handed a 10-week prison sentence. He was ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Daniel Sweet, 33, of Newport Road, Lake pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation.
• Karen Needham, 71, of Arthurs Hill, Shanklin pleaded guilty to drink driving (97). She was banned from driving for 28 months, fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £80 surcharge.
• Charles Tom, 56, of St Johns Wood Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was handed an 8-week custodial sentence, suspended for 12 monrhs. He was also handed a 36-month driving ban. He was ordered to pay £154 surcharge.
• Lucy Soldevila, 39, of Beaper Shute, Brading, pleaded guilty to drug driving (BZE) and drug driving (cocaine). She was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £120 and orderd to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge.
• Anthony Williams, 29, of Yaverland Road, Sandown pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, failing to stop and speeding. He was banned from driving for 15 months, made subject to a 12-month community order with 200 hours of unpaid work and 10 rehabilitation days attached and fined £461. He was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Amber Gagen, 25, of Green Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community protection notice. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Amber Banham-Gage, 22, of George Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community protection notice. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Daniel Jeavons, 32, of Cross Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to burglary other than dwelling – theft. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with a 120 day alcohol abstinence requirement and 10 rehabilitation days.
• Harry Rimell, 25, of Millways, Freshwater pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs

Lots of stupid drivers yet again? Why can’t we know the number plates of the cars they drive because I’d like to bet they will continue to break the law and drive?? Its getting ridiculous now!
