The band took to the international stage sheepishly to accept the awards.

“This year has been so surprising. Starting this band has been such a surprise and being on the roads.
“We couldn’t have done it without our amazing crew, and that all started with Karima Kingsley, so I just want to give a really big thank you to her. And Alayna, Martin, Lawrence and Jordan and all of our amazing team!”
Wet Leg were brought back to the stage seconds later to collect their 2nd Grammy of the night: the Best Alternative Music Album.
The 2nd award was accepted by drummer Henry Holmes, who said:
“This is just a magical evening.
“There are so many people out there that we should thank, and my mind has gone blank, and I feel like I might wet myself. I’m getting a bit… It’s getting a bit much!
“Thank you to everyone who has helped us do this, thank you to all you guys. We’re all one big f*cked-up family!”
We all know that Wet Leg are from the Isle of Wight. However, the band were described on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme this morning (Monday) as coming from the Isle of Man.

Eneeway. Wahl dunn gerrawz.. Yoo dunnus prayd!
It’s a real shame the music industry has gone so low.
At least they are Wight, and not mumbling and bragging how many women day have had, how rich dem is, how dey carry gun do drugs etc etc like many ‘new artists’.
Having said that can’t see them becoming lasting household names unless they change their style over time, as being ‘different’ is appealing, but only whilst it ‘is’ different, for when it is just more of the same, it no longer is.
What are you smoking?
Wet Leg are like a breath of fresh air compared to the bland soundalike garbage that is the bulk of most airplay lists these days.
Hey, Adele, when are you going to release another song about being dumped?
