The Wightlink Islanders are back in action at Smallbrook Stadium, Ashey Road, Ryde tonight (Tuesday), aiming to nullify the threat posed to them by the visiting Buxton Hitmen in a National League match.
The aim is focused on winning the fifteen heat match by seven points or more to claim all three league points available to the Island team as they look to step up their bid to claim a place in the National League top four come the end of the league fixtures and thus claim a place in the end-of-season play-offs for the 2013 title.
Currently, the Wightlink Islanders lie in fifth place in the table, four points behind fourth placed Coventry and five points behind third placed Mildenhall but with matches in hand (five on Coventry, four on Mildenhall) and thus victory tomorrow will put them very much within touching distance of them both.
