For the 9th consecutive day, gritters will be out in force across the Island this afternoon (Wednesday) as the team at Island Roads continue to help make the roads safer for vehicle users.
Treatment on the precautionary route and bridge decks at 16:00 this afternoon as well as 05:00 tomorrow morning (Thursday).
As well as treating the gritting routes, a boost on any of the wet spots will that have developed will be undertaken too.
Island Roads has advised drivers to drive according to the weather conditions.
