Lorrie and Paul Hawkins won Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club’s annual Rolling Pin competition in blistering conditions on Monday 25th May.
The Rolling Pin is played for each year by members of Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club in a mixed greensomes stableford competition.
This year’s event was, as usual, hard fought, with players facing extremely hot conditions out on the course.
The husband-and-wife pairing of Lorrie and Paul Hawkins came out on top with 39 points, winning on countback from club captains Dorian Cobb and Vicki Guildford.
