Crews from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at an address in Binstead this evening (Wednesday).
The incident has occurred at an address on Chestnut Close, a cul de sac off Binstead Lodge Road.
Fire engines from Newport and Ryde are in attendance at the scene.
Smoke has been seen issuing from the ground floor of one of the properties on the road.
UPDATE @ 19:30 – All crews have now stood down from the incident.
