A man accused of possessing hand grenades and various types of ammunition will appear before a judge at the Isle of Wight Crown Court next month.
Joshua Langley, 30, of St Saviours Road in Totland, appeared before Magistrates earlier this week (Tuesday) charged with 3 counts of possess ammunition for a firearm without a certificate, 2 counts of possess a controlled drug of Class-B and a single count of possess explosive substance for unlawful purpose.
Langley is accused of possessing ammunition/cartridges of several sizes and 2 military distraction hand grenades.
The alleged offending occurred between 15th – 21st January 2025.
Due to the nature of the charges put to Langley, no pleas were entered and the case sent straight up to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
Langley is due before a judge on 13th July.
Unbelievable, no comments on this “NUTTER” but look out if you drive over 20mph or some other minor offence. You really could not make this up.
