It’s been confirmed that the incident involving a Honda Civic and a Scania lorry belonging to MCM Construction.
The car pulled out in front of the lorry the lorry wasn’t going fast and he beeped the car. Luckily no one was hurt
Sorry for the lorry driver having to come into contact with yet another brain-dead island idiot, it won’t be long before the next one comes along….drugged up or pissed..
Or just too old to be driving.
Thank you for telling us all about this, Tina. I hope that this will shut up all of the ‘Juggernauts thundering down our streets’ brigade.
Most drivers over here do not know how to join a carriageway from a slip road just like they don’t know how to use roundabouts, makes me wonder who taught them to drive and how did they pass their driving test
Although I agree, it works both ways, there are some people who drive like the slip road doesn’t exist and are hell bent on speeding up at that point because they don’t want to give someone the chance to pull out, encountered a few of them on the dual and can cause chaos
Hubby and me where two behind the lorry, the lorry was going at a speed. The car came out of lidls slip way, join the carriageway at a speed probably trying to beat the lorry because he wanted the right hand lane, how he didnt see a great big lorry I dont know he certainly didnt make it. Hubby and me got out and made sure they were both ok, both of them thank goodness were. Both drivers were early forties not drunk or drugged up. I would say it was the cars fault but I am no expert, he was very lucky. I directed a bit of traffic because people were coming up the dual at a speed, then left it all to the emergency services.
