West Wight Road Runners were delighted to host over 70 runners from all over the Island at their annual ‘Let’s All Run Together’ event held earlier this week (Wednesday).
The event in is now in it’s 12th year had an option of 2 routes. A hilly 5.5 mile route took in the sights of Tennyson Down and the gentler 5k route went to Freshwater Bay and through Afton Marsh.
Participants were asked to bring a donation for the IW Food Bank and afterwards over 200 items were dropped off at the local West Wight collection point.
After the run everyone returned to West Wight Sports and Community Centre to enjoy refreshments and snacks kindly provided by the members of WWRR.
This was a really great social running event and saw people all ages join in.
