Police have issued an appeal for a woman, Josephine Graney, who is wanted in connection with an assault that took place in Sandown.
The 44-year-old is wanted by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary as their investigation into an assault that took place in Sandown continues.
Graney is of no fixed address; however, it is thought she may still be on the Island.
She is described as:
- White
- 5ft 7ins tall
- Slim
- Blue Eyes
- Very long fair hair
Police have asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to please call 101 quoting the reference 44260348592. You can also make a report online.
Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their anonymous online form.
The force has issued a reminder that anyone found to be harbouring Graney to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate her may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.
UPDATE THURSDAY – Police have confirmed that a 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
She remains in custody.
