Temporary traffic lights will remain in place at Nodes Road, Cowes over the Bank Holiday due to over-running works by Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE).
Emergency electricity work was undertaken on Thursday to restore power to several homes in Nodes Road. SSE engineers had hoped to finish the work today (Friday) but have notified Island Roads that they have been unable to source the required material.
As a result of the overrunning of works, temporary lights will remain in place until the job is completed on Tuesday.
