Gosh! Another bunch of trees jumping into the road whilst the driver was obviously doing no more than 25mph!
Oh dear. Driving too fast? Avoiding a pheasant? Who knows?
Sorry again, meant to reply to Sheila’s lovely pheasant comment
Another one will be along soon….
Yep, it’s called lots and lots of cars on a very small island.
Another aerobatic driver again getting to be a daily event.
Should be a new motor sport !
Is it my imagination or are we seeing a huge increase in the number of road accidents on the Island? Is it connected to the increase in hot (aka noisy), badly driven hatchbacks?
Only the driver knows what happened. But these ‘single vehicle’ accidents do seem to have become very common. Almost as common as smart phones !!!
Yet another driver who has proven themselves to be unfit to be behind the wheel of a motor vehicle
how ……………………………………………………..
Middle Road along with Forest Road are 2 roads where people drove too fast, it needs a speed limit before a pile up happen.
There IS a speed limit on Forest Road … it’s 30 till you’re well past the school (coming out of Newport) and then increases only to 40 on the run up to Gunville lights – but you really wouldn’t believe it on occasions. There is NO enforcement.
From Yarmouth the speed limit is 30 then 40 then 50 until after Shalfleet where it is 60mph. Then reduces to 40 to the lights.
Too many older drivers and holidaymakers think it is 40mph all over the Island which causes frustration to the queue of traffic building up behind them forcing them to overtake when not safe to do so. Hence accidents.
Speed limits are totally useless unless you enforce them!
Wow that really unusual, never seen that happen on the island before!!
