Bembridge RNLI came to the aid of a 35ft sailing yacht off Seaview this afternoon (Friday).
RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (Tamar 16-17) launched at around 13:25 this afternoon at the request of Solent Coastguard to assist a 35ft sailing yacht off Seaview that had snagged something around her propeller.
It did not take long for the volunteer crew to reach the yacht and she was quickly cut free, however as her prop was jammed she was towed to Haslar Marina.
The All Weather Lifeboat was rehoused by 15:00
