Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating missing 56-year-old Sarah Watson from Ventnor, who has not been seen since Monday.
Sarah was reported missing to Police yesterday (Tuesday), however, she has not been seen since 10:30 on Monday morning (24th February) when she left her home address in Ventnor.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary say they are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who has seen her between Monday and today to get in touch.
A number of enquiries are being carried out across the Island, including at Culver Down.
As previously reported by Island Echo, a large-scale search was launched yesterday afternoon involving 2 Coastguard Rescue Teams, 2 Coastguard Rescue helicopters, 2 lifeboats and the National Police Air Service helicopter.
The search resumed at first light this morning with Coastguard Rescue Teams on the ground and Bembridge RNLI’s inshore lifeboat at sea.
Sarah is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall with blonde shoulder-length hair. She is said to be of petite build.
She was last seen wearing a black coat, a dark hoodie, light blue jeans, black trainers, and was carrying a black rucksack with gold zips and fastener.
