Hundreds of classic, quirky and gas-guzzling cars gathered on the Island for the annual International Charity Classic Car Extravaganza at the weekend.
This year marked the 15th running of the event, which always sees thousands of locals descend on Newport Quay on the Saturday and Ryde Esplanade on the Sunday to admire the variety of machines on display.
Around 700 cars in total turned out for the event including a bright green Lamborghini Huracan, Dodge Vipers and a yellow Porsche GT3 RS, all of which proved popular with the crowds. It wasn’t just modern super cars that caught visitors eyes… open-top classics, drag racers, muscle cars and customized family cars were parked up for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Both the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and the Isle of Wight Round Table will benefit from monies raised.
