Wightlink-sponsored Ryde Rowing Club was represented by just 2 competitors at the Coalporters Novice and Junior Regatta in Southampton.
With many members attending the Isle of Wight Festival, Ryde Rowing Club had a reduced presence at the Southampton Coalporters Novice and Junior Regatta on the River Itchen on Saturday (20th June).
Lars Groothuis competed in the Open Novice Sculls but was unable to progress to the final.
Youngster Rosie Morris took part in 2 events. In the Girls J14 Single Sculls, she finished 2nd in her heat, while in the Girls J14 Double Sculls she raced in a composite crew alongside a member of Shanklin Rowing Club.
The pair finished 3rd in their heat.
