He has since been discharged and is recuperating at home.

The case has been sent up to the Crown Court and will next be heard on 5th July.

Protecting his drug market???
If you are able to read properly fred it’s not his address so is unlikely to be “his drug market”. I assume you know him and the all the information with regards to what happened? Or are you just making narrow minded assumptions
Actually Fred might not be too far of the mark Jade.
I looked up Oak Vale on Googlemaps, I’m sure it’s the same place where drugs criminals were involved in some sort of altercation some months ago.
It looks a lovely estate of smart new energy efficient homes – most would feel privileged to live there. The problem seems to be with some of the residents – were they not vetted at all before being offered homes there ?
With all the bad reports, I don’t think anyone would want to move there and those already in residence would probably wish to leave.
Wow! Lovely estate? Everybody south of the Railway Line calls it Soweto, mate. Not energy efficient when they cause flooding to St. John’s Road Station every time it rains more than a spit and no locals were consulted before the eyesore was built. It was previously a scrapyard, which by comparison had the charm of The Victoria and Albert Museum!
Hang him right now, no questions.
What concerns me is this frequent calling of Air Ambulance (which I support) when it is not needed… can’t the IOW ground crew do proper assessments?
I’d say getting stabbed in the ribs with a 10 inch hunting knife probably warrants bringing the helicopter out as a precaution, he’s incredibly lucky he’s not dead.
One assumes that the authorities feel that the time and life saved IF it is needed is worth the cost of a few gallons of fuel.
Yet likely in this particular case I doubt that is so imo.
