Organisers of the Isle of Wight Grand National and Scurry, which was due to be held on Sunday, have this evening (Wednesday) confirmed the event has been cancelled for 2016.
Wet conditions are being blamed for the cancellation of the event, which had already been postponed from 20th March.
With no alternative date available, entry money (cash) will be refunded or cheques destroyed.
Organisers have said they are sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience caused.
