The death of 6-year-old Keziah Flux-Edmonds is being treated as murder, Police have today (Friday) confirmed.
A post mortem carried out on 44-year-old Darren Flux Edmonds – father to the innocent young girl – has established that he died as a result of ligature suspension, confirming that he hanged himself.
No one else is being sought in relation to either death.
The result of the post mortem examination on Keziah Flux-Edmonds was undetermined and further tests will now be carried out.
Detectives are treating her death as murder and are continuing with their investigations on behalf of the coroner.
Detective Inspector Simon Baker said:
“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and our specialist officers are continuing to support family members.”
There has been no indication as to how 2 dogs died in the same incident.
