The Isle of Wight Hockey Club has renewed its ‘lucky’ sponsorship deal with Shanklin-based firm Deep Design, which will see the company’s logo appear on the front of the club’s new playing shirts.
Ever since the club were first sponsored by Deep Design in 2012, at least one of its senior teams has won their league each season, with all four teams gaining promotion in 2015.
While remaining as the club’s main shirt sponsor, Deep Design will also continue to provide the club’s website www.iowhockey.co.uk, which will be given a revamp in the coming weeks.
Club chairman Harry Kirby said:
“I am very happy we have renewed our sponsorship deal with Deep Design, who are somewhat of a lucky charm for us.
“It is always fantastic when local companies and organisations get behind and support local sports teams such as ourselves and we are grateful to Deep Design for continuing to back the club. We look forward to more joint success over the coming years.”
Kevin Barton from Deep Design added:
“We are honoured to continue our sponsorship of the IOW Hockey club, supporting local sports and community teams is very close to our hearts at Deep Design and in particular with IOW Hockey Club as we have built a strong relationship with them.
“We wish them every success for the coming season”.
The hockey club will also launch its new-look shirts by the start of the new season in October, which will also feature its new logo which was designed by Sandown-based company MooksGoo.
