ISLE OF WIGHT BILTONG BEEFS UP WARRIOR’S SPONSORSHIP

isleofwightbiltongwarriorsspeedwayIsle of Wight Biltong has joined the growing number of Island-based sponsors getting behind the Wight Warriors speedway team by providing the healthy beef snack as part of the promotions ideas for supporter interaction during the meetings.

Isle of Wight Biltong is owned by Nick and Sarah Greeff and use a three generation family recipe used by Nick’s grandfather on their cattle farm in Zimbabwe for the biltong production. Established in 2011 and using only British beef, the product is available online, through Southern Co-Operatives, independent delis and Selfridges’ London Food Hall.

“It’s absolutely fantastic that the Warriors are returning speedway to Smallbrook stadium soon. Nick and I are extremely proud to be able to support the Warriors with our product and our association with them is made even more special by the fact that it’s an Island business supporting another Island business. Now, we cannot wait for the speedway to start and be part of our Island team”.

A delighted Commercial Director, Barry Bishop said:

“I have loved biltong for many years and find its taste and texture fit perfectly with a beer or whisky. When I discovered that the Isle of Wight has its own biltong company employing a traditional biltong recipe I knew it was something I wanted to support and even more importantly, I hoped they would like to support the Warriors.

“I am pleased to say that after a conversation and tour of the stadium and track for Nick, Isle of Wight Biltong were only too pleased to participate in one of our unique sponsorship opportunities which fans will know more of as the season starts.
