With the Island Speedway’s fans forum just days away, music composer and top DJ Charles Bronxton has offered his services, exclusive tracks and sessions for Isle of Wight Speedway fans.
It has been confirmed this week that supporters of Island Speedway will be able to access a database of composition via a code, only available to those supporting speedway on the Isle of Wight – an unique arrangement in the sport.
It is hoped that younger fans who attend Island Speedway will soon be able to make use of this prestigious benefit as plans continue to progress to bring speedway back to the Isle of Wight in 2016.
Charles Bronxton is a composer and DJ based in Frankfurt, Germany whose musical genre is everything from house to elektro, from techno to acid. Partnering also with ‘Toms’, hear their passion during their live sets together or during his long and intense DJ sets around the underground club scene. Charles and Toms also run two studios in the east of Frankfurt where they work, compose and produce together with various other well known urban artists.
Barry Bishop, one half of the duo bringing speedway back to the Isle of Wight, said:
“Charles is a world class DJ and ultimate professional. I am really happy to have him on board working with Island Speedway providing exclusive sets and mixes aimed at our younger fans.
“Attending Island Speedway will be the only way to hear Island Speedway’s exclusive sets and there will be more to follow. It’s hoped that at some points in the year Charles Broxton and Toms will join us at the stadium where he will mix and produce live.
“I hope this proves our commitment to younger fans that speedway will not only be about the team but our community”.
Charles hopes to have a taster ready in time for the fans forum on Thursday (21st May), which is to be hosted at Ryde Superbowl.
He said:
“When Barry asked me to support his project I did not think long about it before Toms and I committed. It has always been fun to work with him in the past on other projects.
“We are looking forward to seeing some races at Smallbrook and support the team with fresh exclusive sound”.
