A leading Isle of Wight business has donated hundreds of Easter eggs to support families in need, helping to bring some seasonal cheer ahead of Easter.
ICRTouch recently visited the Isle of Wight Foodbank to hand deliver 250 Cadbury’s Easter eggs as part of efforts to support the charity’s ongoing work in the community.
The Foodbank provides vital assistance to residents across the Isle of Wight, supplying essential items such as food, clothing and, where possible, seasonal goods to families facing difficult circumstances.
For many households, seasonal treats such as Easter eggs are considered a luxury, making donations like this particularly meaningful, especially for families with young children.
The contribution marks the third consecutive year that ICRTouch has donated Easter eggs to the Foodbank.
Colin Ringer, CEO of ICRTouch, has said:
“Seasonal occasions can be challenging for many people, particularly when everyday essentials take priority over seasonal treats.
“We’re incredibly proud to play our part in supporting the Isle of Wight’s community, and hope that these Easter eggs bring a little extra joy to Foodbank users who’d only expect to find staple food items.”
The donation was welcomed by staff and volunteers at the Isle of Wight Foodbank, which is currently running its ‘Give a Little, Change a Lot’ Lent appeal.
Kay Lewis, Manager of the Isle of Wight Foodbank, has said:
“We are incredibly grateful to ICRTouch for their generous donation of 250 chocolate Easter eggs as part of our ‘Give a Little, Change a Lot’ Lent appeal.
“Their kindness will help bring a little extra joy to local children and families across the Isle of Wight who are facing difficult times. Support like this truly makes a difference in our community, and we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone at ICRTouch for getting behind the campaign and helping us spread hope this Easter.”
ICRTouch has said it will continue to support local charities and community initiatives across the Isle of Wight.
