Windy conditions on the Solent have forced the temporary suspension of Hovertravel services this afternoon (Monday).
Despite the sun shining, strong winds have seen the craft unable to navigate the crossing between Ryde and Southsea.
Purchased tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fast Cat service.
An update is due at 16:00 as to whether or not service can resume.
Hovertravel apologises for any inconvenience caused.
UPDATE @ 16:30 – Services have resumed once again.
